The Cuisine::pro® iD3® BLACK SAMURAI™ Ultimate Knife Set 3 Piece contains 1x 17cm/6.5" Cleaver, 1x 18cm/7" santoku knife and 1x 12.5cm/5" santoku knife. A cleaver can take on heavier root vegetables with more force than a chef's knife or santoku knife. Aside from breaking down tendons and bones, cleavers can also be used for pounding, mincing, dicing, and slicing a variety of other foods.
Santoku knives have a low tip, broad blade perfect for slicing, dicing and mincing. The recesses situated above the blade edge helps to release thin slices and sticky food after slicing.
Blades have been tapered to allow for a thinner and more precise cutting edge.
